Maine Thread & Machine Company is a brick and mortar company located in Lewiston, Maine USA. Founded in 1958 as a supplier to the footwear industry, we sold our products in Maine and throughout New England. Today we are shipping our waxed handsewing thread all over the world. Our products can be found in popular footwear brands and accessories.

 Recently, due to the overwhelming request for waxed thread in smaller amounts, we expanded our product line. We are now pleased to offer smaller put-ups and quantities to accommodate the needs of leather crafters, saddle makers, cobblers and numerous other cottage industries. We also continue to ship our products in bulk to factories around the world.
